A good day so far ...

Today is my birthday. I am 27 years old. When I got to the office, my desk was thoroughly decorated with streamers, ribbons and two cards sticking out of the keyboard. I got a Barnes and Noble giftcard. Later in the morning, the ladies from the Help Desk came over with two flower arrangements: fragrant lavendar roses and a large autumnal bouquet of dahlias and Asiatic lilies.

Next week I'm going to seek a pre-approval for a mortgage. I think I'm going to buy a house this winter.
