Briefly ... on a Monday evening

My finger tips are cold. So cold that even against the palm of the same hand, they are cold. But the rest of me is warm.
I had yakisoba noodles for lunch. I am in love with yakisoba noodles. Yakisoba every day until I never want to see them again - that is how I am about food. It just tastes so satisfying.
Discovered a new drink (to me) called Visoda. I got it because it had 100% of Vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, Folic Acid, Pantothenic Acid, Manganese and Zinc. I didn't realize until after I'd bought it that it also had 300 mg of caffeine (equivalent of 3 cups of coffee). I do not drink coffee and have no caffeine addiction. But I like Visoda. It also has 0 carbs and calories. It's inoffensive in taste. It's got some weird chemical sweetener called Sucralose that probably causes cancer in lab rats, but I don't care. It will be my one vice, after vodka. It gave me a much needed pick-up without turning me into a spazz. I actually feel like I can go home and work on my AA paper after being at work for 12 hours. I am determined to turn that sucker in by Tuesday night.
I am going to skip the feminist literature class this Winter; I will ask Dr. K for the reading list, however. I feel the need to read an Unamuno novel - soon!

mmmm.....precious caffeine
Date: 2003-12-16 09:23 am (UTC)not the way I make it! 2, maybe--if I'm careless moving grounds to filter.
but I'm a regular-maintenance caffeine junky. Enjoying an orange and a huge cup of Darjeeling tea right now.
